If you’re reading this blog post, I know it’s because you’re someone who aspires to be successful. Everyone’s path to success is different. However there are certain qualities that the majority of successful people have. One of them is LEARNING, successful people are always seeking education. Warren Buffett read 600-1000 pages per day early on in his career. Now he spends 80% of his day reading. That may sound extreme but it tells me one thing–I need to read more. In this day and age, there are so many ways to consume information. You can listen to audible books, read, listen to videos or podcasts and spend time around people more experienced than you.
One of my goals for 2020 is to read read 50 pages of a book and 5 articles & or podcasts in my field per day. I’m starting with a reasonable amount for myself to develop the habit. Then I plan to compound the information I consume over time. Over the past 5 years ago I’ve gotten better at digging deep within myself, determining what my morals/values are, as well as enhancing my self love and appreciation. Over the past two years especially I’ve been working on growing my business, networking and becoming a better version of myself while inspiring others to do the same.
If you’re seeking to become a better well-rounded person, become more knowledgeable, articulate yourself better, or grow your business, listening to at least one podcast daily can help you achieve this goal. Despite what industry you’re in, business and branding knowledge, as well as personal development is critical for your success. Below are 10 podcasts that I recommend:
